GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

World Homes Mobile Modular Housing and Buildings meet the standards set by the Southern Building Code Congress International and also the National Fire Protection Code and the Life Safety Code as published by the National Fire Protection Association in the United States. For persons knowledgeable of the details of these codes, the following references are applicable:

The General Material Specifications are as follows:

STANDARDIZING END FRAMES - 10 gauge 8" X 8" plate, 4.5 inch box tube outside of 4 inch box tube welded to ISO cast steel corners primed and painted.

FLOOR - Double 2" X 10" side plates with either 2" X 6" or 2" X 8" floor joists 16" on center. 3/4" oriented strand board glued and nailed to floor joists. Interior finish of one piece continuous roll vinyl floor covering. Exterior including 1.5 mil polyethylene vapor barrier and rodent proof bottom underlayment.

EXTERIOR WALLS - 2" X 4" studs on 16" centers with 2" X 4" top and bottom plates with 5/16" oriented strand board glued and nailed to stud walls and then covered by 1/2" all weather color impregnated or paintable exterior hardboard siding. Interior walls are finished with 5/16 gypsum board or 5/32 luan with decorative vinyl finish.

INTERIOR WALLS - Same as exterior without glued and nailed layer of oriented strand board.

EXTERIOR TRIM AND FINISH - All finished exterior hardboard siding or exterior vinyl.

ROOF - 2" X 4" sloping roof trusses on 16" centers covered with 7/16" oriented strand board underlayment, roof felt, and either asphalt shingle, galvanized metal, or fiberglass latex.

CEILING - Either pre-finished 5/16" gypsum or factory spray finish over 5/16" gypsum.

INSULATION - Floor R-11 Owens Corning fiberglass, Sidewalls R-11 Owens Corning fiberglass, and Floor R-14 Owens Corning fiberglass.

DOORS - Interior are prefinished hollowcore and exterior are prefinished aluminum.

WINDOWS - All aluminum prefinished, single hung, flush mounted with tinting.

CABINETS - Base cabinets of laminated high pressure plastic (Formica type) self-edging with back-splash and overhead cabinets with shelving.

BATHROOM - One piece fiber glass shower with marine type low water use commode and lavatory.

KITCHEN - Stainless steel sink with sink mounted faucet. Self-edged laminated counter top with 4" backsplash. Base cabinets and overhead shelves.

ELECTRICAL - USA system 110-220 60htz. wired with 14-2 and 12-2 copper wire to American National Electric Code. 30 gallon water heater either electric or propane gas.

PLUMBING - All supply lines polybutyl and all drain lines PVC

OTHER - All appliances are available either propane gas, llOv or 220v. Privacy locksets on interior doors and dead bolt locks on exterior doors. All units can include air conditioning and heating.

OPTIONS - Polyethylene septic tank and drainfield kit, 300 gallon cistern, gravity pressure water cistern with built in water capture system and awnings.
